Lose Weight By Speeding Up Your Metabolism

We have all heard people talking about how easy it is for individual with high metabolisms to shed extra pounds. Of course we then determine that since we can’t lose weight we probably have a slow metabolism.
Metabolism, or metabolic rate is how fast your body burns calories by going about your daily routines. Of course everyone has a different metabolism and it’s the reason some can eat pretty much anything they want and never gain an ounce, while others gain weight if they even look at a fudge brownie.
Good news is you can exert control over your metabolic rate and speed it up.
Here are three tips to crank up the metabolic heat.
1. Eat smaller meals and eat more often - Your body will adjust to using the more frequent meals as fuel and not store them as body fat.
2. Drink more water - A German study showed that drinking 500ml of water increased the resting metabolic rate of the test subjects by 30%! This effect reached a maximum around 30-40 minutes after drinking the water.

This was a great read, thanks. I love reading about weight loss tips, stories, and general info. It has always been a hobby of mine. Also, if anyone is interested, I recommend trying TriSlim to lose weight. It’s working great for me.

I tried Nutrisystem for a few weeks. Overall the food was “ok” tasting and I did lose some weight but I ended up switching over to Weight Watchers because it was less expensive.
