How does a Leo deal with authority?

Seemingly many people may already have an idea regarding the answer to this question. They do not handle authoritative figures well. Rather than calling it out as a black and white matter, let’s figure out the reasoning or logic. Could it be the confrontational nature of the fire element? Or maybe the fixed role of a pampered-prissy-princess within that needs constant catering at every beckoning turn?
Generally, fire signs are passionate about every aspect of their life, tending to be good and productive in both the areas of romance and career, yet this can prove to be an irony when this passion becomes a craving for confrontation. Even though a Leo is considered a fixed sign playing a submissive role, the fire attribute makes them like to tease; resulting in a little more of “hard balling” before letting others have their way
Fixed nature creates a submissive role for the Leo; with the same token it also makes a Leo a dependant being who needs much accommodation. There are two kinds of authoritative scenarios that most people deal with…. personal (spouse, parent, older sibling) or professional (work and school superiors). A Leo deals similarly with both varieties but in a different way when stumbling upon the two. Individually on a personal level they would be demanding, as they seek for comfort and pampering from their loved ones. Professionally, they can be difficult, cantankerous, or “naughty” in the sense of challenging the authorities forming a test to see if they are worthy of respect.
Case and point, the Leo is not one to “bend over backwards” personally or professionally. While cantankerous and assertive they can easily be mesmerized by showers of flattery. Play your cards right and learn how to walk right through their fiery test.
