Morning Coffee - Life is SHORT: Make It Beautiful and Meaningful

What do you actually want in life? Has it ever come across your mind and felt the urge to explore the possibilities of the dreams in your head?

I believe many of us have our own childhood dreams which we have carried forward to this very minute.
Every of us is given a certain period of time on earth. We have our paths to walk through. We have our own circle of family and friends to share with. We have our choices to choose from. We have desires and most of all…..we have our own dreams. Life can be hard and miserable and pathetic, but as long as we keep our dreams alive, it can also be amazing…at least in our own pace and space.
Life can be meaningful and also beautiful all together. It all depends on how we look at it…how we perceive it…and how we act on it.
On average, a man would have about 60-80 years of life-time or less…to go through. We will walk our path and it may always come across others’. That’s how we have our own circle of people. Family, friends, and…..soul mate. Some things can be planned…but most of time, lots of things would take place randomly and unexpectedly. Life is always full of surprises. You can be flying on top of the mountain at one time, and dive deep all the way to the bottom of the sea at other. And you’ll never know what happen next.
We are all blessed with life itself..aside from everything else we have. Every second we breathe, every minute we wake, and every hour we live…they are the greatest blessings ever given to us. We can live today, but we’ll never know if tomorrow we still do. We have to make the best out of everthing we have and try to never delay things we can actually do today. Say nice words and do nice things to people we come across. Express ourself and be sincere. Don’t say things if we don’t mean it. Don’t do things that can hurt others. Take just enough and share with others.
Lend your hands to and give your shoulder for people you care. Love your life and love others’ more. Make it beautiful for you and meaningful to others. Cause when we eventually have to leave this world, people will always remember us…for what we have done.
A friend of mine just recently forwarded me a story telling how a gal, having a terminal cancer, managed to go through her wedding with her beloved husband, even though they already knew they would have less than a week to share with. But, the expectation of such a short period didn’t prevent them to go through the all hassles of a wedding. The gal died after a week or less after the wedding. And the husband, in his eulogy, said…they had lived the happiest one week of their lives. It doesn’t matter how much time we can have in our life, but it does matter how are we going to spend it. Quality means much more than quantity.
This is the quotation from the forwarded story:
Life is short….break the rules…forgive quickly…..
Kiss passionately, love truly…laugh constantly…..
And never stop smiling , no matter how strange life is
Life is not always the party we expected to be …
But as long as we are here, we should smile and be grateful.
Enjoy every second of your life…my friends!!!!!!!!!!!

I do agree with you. Life is short, and we should understand the value of friendship. It’s good to love our friends and family members and care about them.

First I would like to say nice post, but the live for today part most people take to literally.
I here people all the time saying life is short so they eat, smoke, drink to their hearts content. Never taking into account that there will be a tomorrow then wondering why they are in ill health.
But you are correct you should try do something positive each and everyday, when people ask me how things are going I simply tell them as long as im breathing things are going great.
