Susan Boyle fans got their fix this weekend as they watched the unlikely star make it through to the Britain’s Got Talent final. Her semifinal performance was less stellar than the audition that shock the world. Compare her performances yourself below and let us know what you think.
The Scottish star - looking more glamorous with dyed hair and radiant make-up - won the vote in the first of five live televised semi-finals after receiving a standing ovation for her performance of Memory from the musical Cats.
“Susan Boyle (remember that name) became a Web phenomenon after singing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. The performance brought the audience to its feet and left the judges (including Simon Cowell) either speechless or in tears.
The latest semi-final saw comedy dance act Stavros Flatly win the public vote to secure a place in Saturday’s grand final, while 12-year-old singer Shaheen Jafargholi was reduced to tears when he was saved by the judges’ vote.
Judge Amanda Holden said if viewers did not vote for Stavros Flatly - father-and-son performers Demetrios and Michalakis Demetriou - they were “insane”.
It was the third semi-final of five during which a total of 10 acts will be chosen to compete in the final.
Stavros Flatly and Shaheen will join dance groups Flawless and Diversity, and singers Shaun Smith and Susan Boyle.
The hopefuls will compete for a prize of £100,000 and a chance to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
The next semi-final will take place on May 28.

Susan Boyle is an immensely talented lady who’s been subjected to considerable ridicule in the media. IMHO she deserves every bit of success that she is experiencing.
