NY Yankee Parade Route and Live TV Coverage

The Yankees parade route will take the Bronx Bombers through Battery Place, then north through the Canyon of Heroes, before stopping at City Hall Plaza. Mayor Bloomberg, who’s also celebrating a big win this week with his third term, will present the keys to the city, then allow the Yankees to say a few words. The celebration parade will start at 11:00 am from the Canyon of Heroes till City Hotel.

The distribution of tickets starts on Thursday November 5 at 2:00 p.m. EST, according to official information from the New York City government.

According to the Associated Press, the newly elected Mayor Bloomberg will give the World Series 2009 holders the Yankees the keys to the city at the end, in a special ceremony. On the way there, the Yankees will be driven in convertibles, while the usual ticker tape mess is made, and the crowds and numerous fans will cheer them all, while becoming one with them in this hour of celebration.
