2009 Heisman Finalists Announced

Tim Brown, the 1987 Heisman winner and a Woodrow Wilson product, announced Monday evening on ESPN, the five 2009 Heisman Finalists.
- Colt McCoy, Texas quarterback
McCoy won the 2008 Walter Camp Award and was the 2008 Heisman Trophy runner-up.
- Mark Ingram Jr., Alabama running back
Mark Ingram, Jr. is the son of former NFL wide receiver Mark Ingram, Sr.
- Toby Gerhart, Stanford running back
Gerhart is considered a top prospect in the 2010 NFL Draft.
- Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska defensive tackle
Widely considered the best prospect available in the 2010 NFL Draft. Suh is seen as either a defensive end in a 3-4 defense or as a three-technique or nose tackle in a 4-3 NFL defense.
- Tim Tebow, Florida quarterback
A Heisman Trophy-winning American football quarterback for the Florida Gators. He was the first college football player to both rush and pass for 20 touchdowns in a season and was the first sophomore to win the Heisman.
