The Iron Man is back. The new trailer for Iron Man 2 has arrived in glorious high definition and it’s loaded down with a blend of footage we’ve experienced before (glances at Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash and the Senate hearing scene shown at Comic-Con) to all-new action.

Iron Man 2 is the sequel to Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man from 2008, and it is further telling the story of lead character Tony Stark and all of his adventures. They had to ramp up the action for the sequel, and this first Iron Man 2 teaser trailer is going to create a lot of buzz for the film. The Iron Man 2 will find Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) faced with the even tougher task of being a super hero that everyone knows about. At the end of the first film he revealed to the public that he was indeed Iron Man, and that allowed everyone to know his identity. This is a much different story arc than what is usually portrayed in the comic books turned into film, and it gives a much more original spin to the story when the ‘hero’ doesn’t spend half of the movie trying to hide his true self. Now that will give Tony Stark even more freedom to explore his dangerous self, but at the same time it comes with many additional risks.
