FishVille Power Level Guide, Hints and Tips

by wildcherry on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 | Deals, Game Hints & Review | No Comments

What is Power Leveling? Power leveling is the term used to describe the process of leveling a character as rapidly as possible with the least amount of play time.

FishVille Main Strategy in getting the most of your experience points is by raising your fish to junior level 1 and quickly selling them as soon as they mature to that status. Another reason to remember is that you also get XP when you buy a fish.

Here’s an example:

Shy Hamlet

Buying XP: 18xp
Growth: 4 hours
Junior 1: 89 coins, 60xp
Junior 2: 178 coins, 120xp

Power Level Trick where you buy the fish(18xp)->raise to level 1->sell(60xp)->re-buy eggs(18xp) = 96xp Total 4 hours = (24xp per hr)

If you wait and sell, you buy the fish(18xp)->raise to level 2->sell(120xp)->re-buy eggs(18xp) = 156xp Total 8 hours = (19.5xp per hr)

The Fastest XP per hour is the Power Level Option. However if you want to effectively power level you have to be available to feed your fish almost every 15 minutes and have time put away to kill because if you pass the time to feed the fish your fish will die.

Power Level 1-8 Guide

Check the Fish Chart here and you will see the fastest xp per hour fish is the Mini Dart Goby with 78xp per hour. However keep in mind you MUST BE READY to feed your fish every 5-10min max or they will die. So in 1 hour you have to check in and feed your fish at least 6 times, 12 times for 2 hours and etc.

If you have time to kill, stick with the GOBY as they are the fastest to get you to level.

Sleep: When you go to sleep buy the Shy Hamlet

Power level 8-14 Guide

At this point you can still keep doing the GOBY strategy or you can buy the Blue Green Chromis during the day for 17xp per hour and Percula Clownfish when you sleep for 21.93xp per hour.

Power Level 14-33+ Guide

Again buying GOBY is still the best xp per hour however it is very time consuming.

At this point, level 14 you have the option of buying Inland Silverside 26xp per hour for during the day and still keeping Percula Clownfish when you sleep.

Level 33 you can buy Bartlett Anthias for 22.66xp per hour and replace Inland Silverside.

World of Warcraft Patch 3.3 and Fall of the Lich King trailer

by bintangkecil on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 | Deals, Game Hints & Review | No Comments

World of Warcraft Patch 3.3 is out today. It’s the last content patch for the game’s latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. That means we’ll be seeing more and more Cataclysm news and speculation from here on out. (I think I’ll be rolling a Worgen Rogue or Druid, not sure yet.)

In honor of the release of Patch 3.3 for World of Warcraft, Blizzard released a new trailer today. It sets up the storyline for Icecrown Citadel, the new dungeon included in the patch.

Icecrown Citadel is the home of Arthas, the fallen prince whose justice is finally at hand. His enemies, both from the Alliance and Horde, have assembled at his gate to end his reign for good. Before the fateful battle, Arthas receives some fatherly advice…but considering how his dad died, it’s not very friendly advice.

The highlights of Patch 3.3 are as follows:

• Icecrown Citadel instance— take that, Lich King!

• Three more five-man instances

• Cross-server Looking For Group (which means when you PUG you’ll be paired off with people from servers other than your own, which should make PUGing approximately 3 million times better, especially for lower level characters)

Professions

* Enchanting
o Enchant Weapon - Black Magic: This enchantment now sometimes increases haste rating for the caster rather than inflicting the caster’s target with a damage-over-time effect. It is also now triggered by landing any harmful spell rather than inflicting damage with a spell.
o Enchant Weapon - Unholy: This enchantment now inflicts Shadow damage in addition to its original effect.
* First Aid
o The training costs for most bandages have been reduced.
* Fishing
o The all-new Kalu’ak Fishing Derby, a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck, has come to Northrend! Every Saturday beginning at 2 PM players can try to catch the elusive Blacktip Shark. Elder Clearwater sits in Dalaran for one hour awaiting the return of the quickest, most experienced fisher to bring him this shark. This champion fisher will be rewarded in-kind for returning with the first catch. Those who aren’t able to return with the first catch will still receive just reward for getting the Blacktip Shark to Elder Clearwater before he takes his leave. It is said that these sharks’ favorite meal are the bite-sized Pygmy Suckerfish. Perhaps a hook in their waters will do the trick.
* Mining
o Enchanted Thorium: This ability now uses the Mining skill and is learned from trainers at a skill level of 250.

Quests

* Weekly raid quests are now available from Archmage Lan’dalock in Dalaran. Every Tuesday at 3 AM the Council of Six will choose a different strategic target that must die from either: The Obsidian Sanctum, Naxxramas, The Eye of Eternity, Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader, or Icecrown Citadel.
* For the various Icecrown Bomber quests at Aldur’thar: The Desolation Gate, players can now choose to eject from their bomber seats mid-run. If you do so, a rescue vehicle will transport your character back to the safety of your infra-green platform.
* Azure Drakes and Dragons will now attack back when attacked by characters not riding Wyrmrest Defenders.
* Brittle Revenants, quest creatures fought for the Sons of Hodir daily quest “Hot and Cold,” no longer cast Shield Slam.

The full list of patch notes for 3.3 can be found here.

Cafe World Game on Facebook by Zynga: Hints,Tips, and Strategies

by wildcherry on Monday, November 9th, 2009 | Deals, Game Hints & Review | No Comments

Business Is Business

If you want to be successful in Cafe World, you have to remember why your cafe exists in the first place. And that’s to serve your customers. You can decorate your cafe, rearrange your tables, and explore all kinds of menu options, but at the end of the day, none of it will do you any good if you aren’t able to keep customers coming through your door. Just as with any business, you have to give your customers what they want if you want to stay in business.

Cashing In

It’s easy to focus on making coins as quickly as possible when you’re working to build up your business in Cafe World, and there’s nothing wrong with that. You’ve got to make money if you want to keep your doors open. And keeping your customers happy is the best way to maximize you profit potential. The more satisfied customers you send out the door, the more people will venture into your cafe. Please use the table above to maximize your XPs and profits by choosing which food to cook.

Your Buzz Rating, the “thumbs up” number in the upper right hand corner of your screen, is a direct reflection of how happy you’re making your customers. It’s also directly related to the number of customers that walk through your door. The higher your Buzz Rating, the more quickly your customers will start to stream in, and so the faster they’ll spend money.

Buzz Rating Checklist:

  • Pathway from door(s) to *each* chair.
  • Nothing blocking the first step of the doorway.
  • Tables must have an empty spot around one of the 8 sides (4 sides, 4 corners) to be served and a chair facing it.
  • Serving counters have an empty spot (facing it) from one of the 4 sides to serve with enough food.
  • Enough tables and chairs to serve all of your customers, 1 Table/Chair pair per.

Dishes vs Service

You can take all of the time you want planning out the perfect cooking and serving rotation so that you’re maximizing your earning potential per sale. But that’s not how you’re going to bring in the most coins quickly. No matter how much your entree costs per serving, you only make money as quickly as you can serve it. Essentially, the quicker your sales, the more money you’ll make.

Keep you customers happy and coming back regularly, and you’ll see the coins piling up fast. This may not sound like what you want to hear. After all, there are much more interesting things to do in Cafe World than pay attention to all those people walking in and out of your door all day long. It’s not nearly as complicated as it sounds. When you make the right decisions for your cafe, you’ll be making the right decisions for your customers too. After all, it’s just good business sense.

New 2010 Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook Tips and Tricks

by wildcherry on Monday, October 26th, 2009 | Deals, Game Hints & Review | No Comments

Before you read these tips, please don’t forget to add me on Your Facebook (click here) so we can have a friendly weekly competition for Bejeweled Blitz

Bejeweled Blitz Newest Features – Coins and Boosts!

Coins

Coins are virtual currency you earn when playing Bejeweled Blitz. Coins can be used to purchase Boosts.

Boosts

Boosts are gameplay enhancing items that provide unique benefits. You can have up to three boosts active at any time and each boost lasts for three games. Trying out different boost combinations will help maximize their overall effectiveness.

Here are few Bejeweled Blitz hints and tips that will definitely break your High Score:

1. Turn Off the Annoying Sound and Play your Favorite Music

Playing in the 15s of the game are stressful with the alarm and especially when you are doing a speed streak. Playing with your favorite music will enable you to relax and play the last 15s of the  game with full concentration.

2. Play from bottoms up
Combos have a higher chance of being created! As the top gems shift down, new alignment are being created and if luck is on your side, you will score a lot of combos.

3. Create combo streaks
What is a combo streak? By swapping 1 gem, multiple explosions are triggered due to the way the gems fall. In usual games, this can be slowly plotted out. However in facebook bejeweled blitz, with only 1 minute, this game is geared more towards instinct rather than brain power.

Below is some special gems that’s created from making combo:

Flame Gem

Flame Gem - Match 4 gems to create a Flame Gem. Match that Flame Gem to ignite an explosion that will take out all neighboring gems and trigger other Flame Gems within its radius.

Star Gem

Star Gem - Match 5 gems in a “L” or “T” shape to create a Star Gem. Match the Star Gem to unleash its power, removing one column and one row of gems from the board.

Hyper Gem

Hypercube - Match 5 gems horizontally or vertically to create a Hypercube. Use the Hypercube by swapping it with an adjacent gem to turn all gems of that color on the board into a shower of points. Something awesome will now happen if you match two Hypercubes. Are you able to make it happen?

Multiplier Gem

Multiplier Gem - These gems are created by creating large cascades or using power gems to destroy a lot of gems at one time. Matching the Multiplier Gem will multiply all points you get from then until the end of the game.

Speed Bonus

Speed bonus - Build up a speed bonus by continually making matches. You need to make 3 matches in about 2 seconds to start your speed bonus. The higher your Speed Bonus, the more time you have in between matches before it goes away. The Speed Bonus starts at +200 and caps out at +1000. This amount is added to every match you make.

Blazing Speed - Keep your speed bonus up for an extended amount of time and you will start to fill your speed bonus meter, the text displayed for your speed bonus will change color from white to orange. Once your meter is full you will be in Blazing Speed! Each match will grant you the same effect as detonating a Flame Gem until Blazing Speed subsides.
Strategies on getting high scores!
Many players have asked us what strategies they should try in order to get a high Blitz score. Here are some of the strategies that members of the Blitz team use when going for a top score.

-Try to keep your speed bonus up at all times. With a maxed-out speed bonus every move is worth 1250 points!

-Multiplier gems apply not only to matches, but also to your current speed bonus. For example, with a x3 multiplier, each match made with a full speed bonus would be worth 3750 points. So once you’ve established a respectable multiplier, maintaining your speed bonus is extremely valuable.

-Keep an eye out for bigger matches. Look for the opportunity to match 4 or 5 gems. This will create Hypercubes, Flame and Star Gems. These special pieces are instrumental in creating large explosions, which will earn you lots of points, more chances at extra Multiplier Gems and will help mix up the board, potentially making it easier to find new matches. Lost opportunities mean lost points.

-Matches made lower on the board are more likely to generate cascades. If you’re finding it hard to make matches lower on the board, try creating and using a Hypercube or Star Gem.

-When you earn a Hypercube, don’t waste it on the first color you see. Try to use it to on the color with the most gems on the screen. Or if you have any multiplier gems on the screen, consider matching it to the color of that gem.

-The score chart provided on the Game Over screen is a great place to discover strategies of your own. Make sure you take the time to review this chart for your highest scoring games to learn the secrets of your own success.

Bejeweled Blitz Hints and Tips

by wildcherry on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 | Deals, Game Hints & Review, Knowledge | No Comments

Bejeweled Blitz

This video below shows what you SHOULDN’T do if you want to get high scores on Bejeweled Blitz. After watching the video the continue to read the hints and tips.

Here are few Bejeweled Blitz hints and tips that will improve your score:

1. Turn Off the Annoying Sound and Play your Favorite Music

Playing the game in the 15s of the game are stressful with the alarm and especially when you are doing a speed streak.

4. Swap the tiles fast - Play for speed
This will earn you speed bonus which gives pretty attractive returns.
After the 2nd swap, you will earn an additional 100 points per swap p to 1000 extra points. Do note that the speed bonus will reset if you did not make any swap within 2s. If you are on a 2x or 3x multiplier, you score multiply accordingly.

5. How to get Multiplier gems, 2x, 3x, etc
Not sure if you noticed, but after a Power Gem explosion and there is a big chance that the falling gems will create another explosion which will drop the multiplier gem. Refer to the left image for the 2x blue multiplier gem.

For a Hypercube explosion, the chances to receive a multiplier is much lower, unless I manage to achieve a 3rd combo or more.

I think it has something to do with clearing a certain number of gems, though I’m not sure. Based on a Power Gem explosion and combo, it should be a minimum of erasing 12 gems with a single swap.

Power Gem is the gem that can sparkle. You can get Power Gem by erasing 4 gems in a row or 2 rows of 3 gems with a swap.

Hypercube looks like an energy ball.
It will appear by clearing 5 gems in a single swap.

And now, the BEST KEPT Bejeweled Blitz Secret:

6. How to add extra time to the game!

You can swap the gems before the game starts! The gems will switch places but will only explode when the game starts, thus you save 1-2s of you time waiting for the crystal to swap.

Blizzcon Stream Online

“As an FYI for all those who have ordered the service, the internet stream for the DirecTV broadcast from BlizzCon is working, although all you’ll see for the moment is a looping series of advertisements for the feed itself (still scratching my head over why they feel the need to advertise a service you’ve already purchased, but oh well), a recap of BlizzCon 2008, and the Starcraft II, Diablo III, and Wrath of the Lich King trailers.

We’ve gotten some reports from people that the stream seems buggy and that they’ve had some problems with logging in, so if you’ve ordered the service, I would recommend logging in early and keeping a tab up with the feed just in case. The main page for the DirecTV feed is here, so head over and make sure you’ve got everything in place. Don’t forget that you need to press the Login button while entering your username and password; don’t just hit enter! We’d guess the actual broadcast will begin shortly before the opening ceremonies at 11:00 am PST/2:00 pm EST.” from WOW

Mafia Wars Facebook: Strategy, Tips and Secrets

by wildcherry on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | Deals, Entertainment, Game Hints & Review | 24 Comments

Mafia Wars Game of FacebookI constantly update this article. If you have other Mafia Wars strategy, tips and secrets please do share it with us in the comment section. If it’s good I’ll update it to the article! Go to the end of the article for link to part 2. You can also get the Mafia Wars Ebook

I would suggest anyone who plays this game and wants to LVL up fast to choose the Maniac type of Mafia (faster energy recovery).

Before we start, please add Blogoncherry to your mafia!

1. Add Blogoncherry as your friend:

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000074044457

2. Join Blogoncherry’s Mafia:
http://apps.facebook.com/inthemafia/status_invite.php?from=100000074044457

Choose your Mafia
Mogul: The greedy scrooge that wants to make every single penny (s)he can.

* Bonus received paid every 54 Minutes.
* Normal received paid ever 60 Minutes.

Fearless: They gather health quicker in order to fiercely fight more often.

* Bonus you regenerated 1 health every 3 minutes.
* Normal you regenerated 1 health every 5 minutes.

NOTE: While playing though any one can pay for health every 45 seconds.

Maniac: The Mafia who is looking to rob, pillage, loot and collect all the vault items to amass the wealth that far exceeds everyone else.

* Bonus received energy every 3 minutes.
* Normal received energy every 5 minutes.

Choose the Maniac type to LVL up fast:

*Spend all of the pts upgrade on adding your energy.

You don’t need to spend points on Attack, Def or Stamina. Just count on loosing on your fights :). It’s okay cuz at then end you’ll be able to brag to your friends about your LVL. Also this will able you to get the better items quickly.

*Don’t bother on purchasing properties except: Mafia Mike’s, Rent House and all the land lots.

Since you’ll probably lost most of the fights, you’ll also be an easy rob target. By not building any properties, they can’t rob you! You can spend the money on better equipment.

* Use your energy efficiently

If you are good in math, you can make sure you don’t waste any energy while doing jobs. I mean you should see which jobs will give you the most experience (ratio wise). For those of you who needs help checking on which jobst to do, here’s the simple calculation. I’m not Einstein.. don’t need to thank me for this formula :).

EXP divided by Energy = Exp ratio

For instance:

Fed reserve raid job : Exp (32) : Energy (22) =1.45…..

Wiretap the Cops: Exp (48): Energy (26) = 1.84….

The higher the EXP ratio means you’ll get more experience per energy points. So its worth it to get the items required to doo the Wiretap jobs so you can get much more exps. Feel free to use the formula to compare any available jobs (before you start on your energy spending spree) :P

Here’s some other useful tips

How to choose your Mafia Family
* Mastermind – Choose a member with many jobs completed to promote to Mastermind to get more experience points from doing jobs. Your Mastermind gains a small chance of gaining 50% more experience when performing jobs.
* Wheelman – Choose a member with the Fearless character type and a high level to promote to Wheelman to get a reduced energy cost for jobs. Your Wheelman gains a small chance to perform jobs for no energy.
* Button Man – Choose a member with the Maniac character type and a high level to promote to Button Man to get an Attack bonus. Your Button Man gains a small chance to always win fights they initiate.
* Bodyguard – Choose a member with many fights won to promote to Bodyguard to get a Defense bonus. Your Bodyguard gains a small chance to always win fights when they are attacked.
* Safecracker – Choose a member with many successful heists to promote to Safecracker to get more money from fighting and robbing. Your Safecracker gains a small chance to gain double the money when fighting or robbing.
* Bagman – Choose a member with the Mogul character type and a high level to promote to Bagman to get more money from jobs. Your Bagman gains a small chance to gain double the money when performing jobs.

Attack and Defense Skill Points

It is a common misconception that with a large mafia and good weapons there is no need to put a lot into attack and defense skill points. THIS IS FALSE. They are the biggest factor in determining the winner of fights. A good rule of thumb is to keep them at least double your level.

Note: Attack and Defense Skill Points are added together when fighting, so it doesn’t matter which you put them in. Speaking for myself, I like to keep them about even because you never know if they may change the fight formula to where it uses either attack or defense instead of adding them.
