This Michael Jackson Memorial Service event will be broadcast by all major networks and cable entertainment channels live at Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 07, 2009 at 10:00 am. This will be a record-breaking event as we honored the death of The King of Pop Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s memorial service will take place Tuesday, July 7th 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Staples Center, the 20-thousand seat coliseum in downtown Los Angeles where Jackson rehearsed his show the night before he died, according to a person who has been briefed by a representative of the family.

The service will be held between 10am PST and noon PST. The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus will be on standby, literally. The circus act just happens to be in town and is slated to begin their run at the Staples Center from July 8 to July 11.

11,000 free tickets to the service will be distributed to the public. Fans must register online for a lottery to win free tickets to the Michael Jackson memorial Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Go to Michael Jackson’s Memorial Page on StaplesCenter.com for more information.

Jackson would then be buried at the picturesque Forest Lawn cemetery nestled in the Hollywood Hills above Los Angeles, reports said.

A spokesperson for the Jackson family would not comment on the reports early Thursday. On Wednesday the Jacksons had issued a statement ruling out the possibility of a poignant final farewell at the singer’s Neverland Ranch.

“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland,” it said.

The announcement disappointed fans who had flocked to Neverland after reports indicated the family was planning services at the estate for Jackson, who died after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest on June 25.
